a defined purpose.
Who is responsible?
Mark Abram trading as Haverden Intelligence, a UK sole trader, is the controller of personal information used for this service. Business correspondence and service address: 8 Welbeck Close, Burgess Hill, West Sussex, RH15 0AU, United Kingdom. Privacy enquiries: enquiries@haverdenintelligence.co.uk.
Information we use and where it comes from
We use information you supply in enquiries and orders, business contact details, instructions, delivery and acceptance records, invoices and correspondence. Research uses official public procurement records and relevant company websites. Names and work contact details may be used for our own customer liaison and marketing. The paid research product assesses organisations and procurement facts; it does not analyse identifiable people for clients. We do not request sensitive personal information for prospecting or offer personal profiling.
Purposes and lawful bases
We use information to answer enquiries, agree and deliver a research assignment, administer acceptance and payment, maintain necessary records and handle questions or objections. We rely on legitimate interests for proportionate business liaison and source verification, contractual necessity where the individual concerned is a party to the contract or requests pre-contract steps, and legal obligations for required records. We use consent where the electronic-marketing rules require it. A corporate contact is not automatically personally party to the customer's contract.
Marketing
Any approach must be relevant, identify the sender and provide an easy way to object. Public availability does not establish consent or override a communication provider's rules. Reply to a message or email the privacy address to stop marketing. We keep minimal suppression information to honour objections. We do not sell business-contact lists.
Website and service providers
The static website uses no advertising pixels, analytics scripts or enquiry-submission backend. Email links open your own email application; sending remains under your control. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes request information such as IP addresses to deliver and secure the site. Provider security processing is distinct from advertising or audience analytics.
Correspondence uses IONOS; working records use owner-controlled devices and Microsoft OneDrive. Codex assists research using public organisation-level procurement facts and drafting. We remove unnecessary names, contact details and other personal information from AI research inputs. Client packs containing personal information are not submitted to AI tools. Any engagement requiring different handling must first have a separate, lawful processing arrangement. Providers may process information outside the UK; where required, appropriate adequacy or contractual safeguards must apply. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data. We disclose information only as necessary for the service, authorised providers, legal obligations or the handling of a dispute.
Retention
Unsuccessful enquiries and prospect information are reviewed after 12 months and deleted unless there is a justified continuing purpose. Working client files are reviewed 90 days after completion. Necessary contract, acceptance and accounting evidence is normally retained for six years after completion, subject to applicable obligations or disputes. Minimal objections are kept as long as needed to prevent repeat contact. These are retention policies, not a statement that every record has the same statutory retention period.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing or withdraw consent. You can object to direct marketing at any time. Some rights are subject to legal limits. Contact the privacy address above; we normally respond within one month, subject to lawful extensions or identity checks. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We do not use automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
